Assuring security

SOIL Single User Internet VPN Access is a secure solution that uses VPN technology, identity certificates and 3DES encryption to establish a secure VPN tunnel through the Internet between SOIL and the customer's computer. Authentication is secured via an identity certificate. The identity certificate is locked to the computer that first downloaded it from RigNet and cannot be exported to another computer, giving RigNet complete control over the VPN client population.

Providing 24/7 support

Since the Internet VPN Single User solution uses the Internet as the communication carrier, RigNet cannot guarantee the service quality. However, to ensure our clients receive the best possible service, RigNet provides 24/7 support to assist you with any problems that may arise.

Please note that when customers are connected to SOIL, the local area network will be unavailable for the computer because split tunneling is disabled. This must be done to avoid bridging between VPN client and unknown hostile clients on the Internet or local network.
