LicenseWeb Internet Access
Providing
The LicenseWeb Internet Access product provides users with a secure login to the LicenseWeb application from the Internet. It authenticates and authorizes the user based on a Managed User Directory (MUD) Username provided by Rignet. Available only on the SOIL network, the LicenseWeb application is managed by the LicenseWeb steering group.
24-hour service
LicenseWeb Internet Access Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. During office hours (08:00 - 17:00 CET), there is a maximum of two hours downtime. Any malfunction reported outside regular working hours will be repaired the following day. Scheduled maintenance on the system takes place every second Thursday evening. Users will be notified on the LicenseWeb Login screen of any planned maintenance.
Technical requirements
Use of the latest security patches and latest version of the Internet browser is highly recommended. A leased Line with a minimum 128 Kb/s is recommended for the Internet connection for optimal use of the LicenseWeb application. Users must also have a mobile phone. Any changes to mobile telephone numbers must be relayed to Rignet's MUD administration.
